3 Things I Love About Babysitting

I am currently babysitting for two different families. One family has a 10 month old baby, and another family has a 6 and 1 year old. I have been babysitting different kids since I was 13ish, and I’ve always enjoyed it – especially babies. So this week, I’m writing 3 Things I Love About Babysitting.

  1. Holding babies. I could hold a baby all day long and not get tired of it.
This is one of the little guys I watch – Gavin. His family goes to my church and I’ve been watching him a couple days a week since the beginning of February. I love him, and I’m pretty sure he loves me . . . 🙂
  2. The things that kids say. This goes for the 6 year old boy I watch, as well as my 8 year old brother. Sometimes they say the funniest things, and I just can’t help but laugh.
    Jaxon: My brain is sweating.
Jaxon: A long time ago when I was five….
Ian: Girls don’t sweat, they gloat.
Ian: If I was a dwarf, they’d call me Burpy.
  3. The way the babies giggle and smile and are happy. I can’t get enough of the smiles and giggles.
